On 30 December 2025, armed clashes erupted between units of STC forces and others from STC Hadrami Elite Forces and Facilities Protection Force in Ghayl Bin Yamin district (coded to district center Al Ulayb) (Hadramawt). The clash broke out over a disagreements on military movements as the STC units attempted to force a unit of the Hadrami Elite forces to accompany them to front lines near the Al Abr area, without official orders from the Elite Forces' command. The clash resulted in the injury of 1 soldier from the Hadrami Elite Forces and 1 soldier from the Facilities Protection Force.
