On 30 December 2025, in Eastern Central Pacific Ocean, the United States military carried out an airstrike on what it claimed were three drug-trafficking-linked vessels in unspecified locations in international waters, killing 3 people and two others survived. The US has not confirmed the location of the strike. However, President of Colombia, Gustavo Petro, claimed that the strike occurred 384,33 nautical miles off the Oaxaca state coast. The survivors were not located. 3 fatalities.
