On 30 December 2025, in Filo El Gringo (El Tarra, Norte de Santander), members of the 33rd FARC dissident front clashed with ELN combatants following an armed incursion by the former aimed at regaining control of the area. The fighting involved rifle fire and explosives dropped from drones, impacting multiple civilian homes, resulting in an unspecified number of fatalities, and triggering the displacement of several families (coded separately).
