On 30 December 2025, in Porto Nacional (Tocantins), two armed men on a motorcycle carried out a drive-by shooting at a motorcycle repair shop in the Imperial sector. The intended target managed to flee unharmed. The attackers later returned and fired again, shattering the glass front of the shop before fleeing. The motive for the attack remains unclear. There were no fatalities.
