On 30 December 2025, in Salvador - Cajazeiras (Bahia), unidentified armed suspects on a motorcycle shot three people in a drive-by shooting in the Castelo Branco neighbourhood. The suspects fired against a man, who was the target of the attack, but eventually shot other people as well. The targeted victim was shot and injured. Two people were shot and killed, and another victim was injured. The suspects escaped immediately. The authorship and motivations are unknown. 2 fatalities.
