On 30 December 2025, near Jacuipe municipality (Alagoas), military police officers exchanged fire with an armed suspect in the Palmeirinha region. The officers conducted an operation in the region after receiving reports about the presence of the suspect, who fired against them. An armed clash took place and the suspect was shot and killed. Police seized a firearm and ammunition. 1 fatality.
