Around 30 December 2025 (as reported), in Quito - Calderon (Pichincha), an unknown number of assailants abducted and killed a taxi driver after posing as passengers. The victim was found dead with his hands and feet bound and a gunshot wound. Police later detained two suspected members of the Los Lobos criminal group in connection with the killing. 1 fatality.
