Around 30 December 2025 (as reported), police officers trailed and ambushed unknown gunmen (coded as unidentified ethnic militia, due to the prevalence of ethnically motivated attacks by pastoral militia), leading to an armed clash in the Madoadoa area along the Isiolo-Gambela road (Tigania East, Meru), moments after the gunmen had invaded an unspecified location within Tigania East sub-county and made away with 204 heads of cattle (coded separately). All the animals were recovered, and casualties are unknown.
