On 29 December 2025, in Ngapali town (Thandwe township, Thandwe district, Rakhine state), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped two 500-lb bombs with a fighter jet that fell and exploded near the Aung Lin ice factory in the Lin Thar ward and Kyin Kan Gyi ward around 8:15 pm. 9 civilians (3 children and 6 adults) were killed and 14 civilians were injured. 23 houses were destroyed. 9 fatalities.
