On 29 December 2025, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, unknown armed individuals traveling in two pick up trucks shot at a luxury vehicle upon which bodyguards shot back in colonia Santa Eduwiges. The clash lasted for several minutes. Two men and one woman were killed and four bodyguards were injured as a result. One victim was identified as a businessman involved in the sale of seeds and grains and his daughter, both who died. More than 200 shell casings were found. 3 fatalities, 4 injured.
