On 29 December 2025, an unexploded shell from previous clashes by unknown gunmen exploded in a wood stove in Al Sgheriyeh area in Adra town in rural Damascus, killing a child, and injuring a woman and a girl from the same family. It turned out that a piece of war debris was found mixed with heating materials and exploded when the heater was switched on. 1 fatality.
