On 29 December 2025, Russian Forces, supported by air force, launched assault actions on Ukrainian positions near Bilohiria, Zaporizhia. Russian Forces shelled Bilohiria with artillery. According to Russian sources, 40 Ukrainian soldiers, including from territorial defense units (coded to Bilohiria), were killed in the area of Bilohiria, Orikhiv, Preobrazhenka and Sadove [Russian MoD reported 40 fatalities.
