Around 29 December 2025 (between 28 - 29 December), Naparama clashed with police officers in the Maca area of Luluti (Luluti, Mogovolas, Nampula). Police claimed Anamola party members were also involved and that the group tried to invade a structure guarded by police, leading to 5 arrests. Anamola denies that its members were creating disorder. Sources differ on location and fatalities: one claimed it occurred in Luluti and 7 Naparama, and 1 police officer died, another claimed it occurred in Marraca and 7 in total died. Fatalities coded as 7.
