On 28 December 2025, in Yangon - South Okkalapa (Yangon-East district, Yangon region), the Urban Rat attacked the General Administration Department office located on Thit Sar Road using two grenades and two homemade mines at around 10 am. In response, the police from the office returned fire. 2 police officers and a 10-household head sustained injuries. There were no fatalities.
