On 28 December 2025, in Rar Hpu village (coded as Rar Hpu (Haung)) (Yebyu township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), a combined force of the Karen National Liberation Army (Battalion-27) and the Ye Ogre Group attacked the Myanmar military IB-282 base. The two sides then exchanged fire for about 20 minutes. 3 military troops, including a sergeant, were killed. 3 fatalities.
