On 28 December 2025, in Thein Za Yat town (Kyaikto township, Thaton district, Mon state), a combined force of the Karen National Liberation Army (Brigade-1 Battalion-3), the People's Defense Force - Thanatpin (Drone Force), and the Falcon-05 Drone Force conducted drone strikes on Myanmar military troops stationed at the General Administration Department office at about 12 pm. Subsequently, the combined force attacked military guard posts around the town using 10 rockets. In response, the military returned fire using heavy weapons. Casualties unknown.
