On 28 December 2025, in Thein Za Yat town (Kyaikto township, Thaton district, Mon state), a combined force of the People's Defense Force - Bago District (Artillery Battalion), the People's Defense Force - Waw (PaKaPha), and the People's Defense Force - Kawa (PaKaPha) attacked Myanmar military troops from LIB-107 using rockets as they came to provide security to the election. Casualties unknown.
