On 28 December 2025, in Thandaunggyi town (Thandaunggyi township, Hpa-An district, Kayin state), the combined troops of the Brave Warriors for Myanmar, the Anti-Coup People's Liberation Force, the Mountain Knights Civilian Defense Force, the Northern Thandaung Defense Force and the Karen National Liberation Army Brigade - 2 Battalion - 5 fired six 107 mm heavy weapons at the Myanmar military Ba Yint Naung training school and an area where the heavy weapons were mounted around 12:40 pm. Casualties unknown.
