On 28 December 2025, near Hpo Kone village (coded as Chauk) (Chauk township, Magway district, Magway region), the combined troops of the People's Defense Force - Magway District Battalion - 1 and Battalion - 2, the Chauk Revolution Army - Yay Nan Myay and the Daung Yin Thway Local Defense Force attacked the Myanmar military troops stationed near the village around 5 am. 4 military soldiers were killed and 6 were severely injured. 4 fatalities.
