On 28 December 2025, in Sat Su Wa village (Aunglan township, Thayet district, Magway region), the combined troops of the Strategy 17, the Yoma Fighter Column, the People's Defense Force - Nay Pyi Taw Battalion - 902, Battalion - 804, the People's Defense Force - Thayet District Battalion - 1, the People Defense Force - Aung Lan (PaKaPha), the People's Defense Force - Aung Lan Company - 3 and the People's Defense Force - Taungdwingyi Region attacked the Sat Su Wa military checkpoint around 10:30 am. During the armed clash, the combined troops fired four 60 mm heavy weapons. Casualties unknown.
