On 28 December 2025, in Ta Khwe Kye village (Yedashe township, Taungoo district, Bago-East region), fighting broke out between around 70 Myanmar military troops and the combined troops of the People's Defense Force - Nay Pyi Taw Battalion 806, 807, 808, 3504 and the People's Defense Force - Yedashe (PaKaPha). During the armed clash, the military fired heavy weapons and point five machine guns. 2 women were killed and a man was injured. 2 fatalities.
