On 28 December 2025, in Bago township (Bago district, Bago-East region), the People's Defense Force - Bago District Battalion - 3701 Company - 3 intercepted and attacked the advancing Myanmar military column. 3 military soldiers, including officers were killed and five were captured as prisoners of war. The PDF troops also seized 12 weapons and ammunition. 3 fatalities.
