Other MoA event in Novomarkove area, Ukraine on Sun 18th January 2026

Further southwest, the Russians captured the central and northeastern parts of Minkivka and improved their positions the southern and southwestern parts, while other forces secured new treeline positions to the south and advanced further northwest up the windbreaks on either side of the Siverskyi Donets Canal.

Additionally, they captured further treeline positions southwest of Novomarkove and entered the eastern part of Markove which is now practically entirely in the grey-zone.
