A military airstrike on a preschool in Kan Yinn Village, Ayadaw Township, Sagaing Region, killed both adults and children this afternoon, according to a statement released in the evening by the Northwest Plains Revolutionary Forces (NPRF).

At around 1 p.m., a fighter jet dropped bombs on the village preschool. An eyewitness said, “A child and an adult died instantly. The jet made two attack runs and dropped two 250-pound bombs.”
