On 27 December 2025, in Thandaunggyi town (Thandaunggyi township, Hpa-An district, Kayin state), the Myanmar military troops fired heavy weapons without an armed clash occurring which fell and exploded in the No.1 ward around 8 pm and injured a 32-year-old woman.
