On 27 December 2025, in Chauk township (Magway district, Magway region), the combined troops of the People's Defense Force - Magway District Battalion - 1 and Battalion - 2, the Chauk Revolution Army - Yay Nan Myay and the Daung Yin Thway Local Defense Force attacked a column of more than 200 Myanmar military soldiers who advanced from Kyaukpadaung town to provide security for the election with mines. 3 military soldiers were killed and ten were severely injured. 3 fatalities.
