On 27 December 2025, in Nat Pa Lin village (coded as Nyaung-U) (Nyaung-U township (Nyaung-U district, Mandalay region), a combined force of the People's Democratic Army, the Aye Yar Daung, and the Chauk Revolution Army - Yay Nan Myay attacked Myanmar military troops who had been deployed in the village to provide security to a polling station at about 6:30 pm. The military subsequently withdrew the polling station and left the village on 28 December 2025. 5 military troops were killed and 10 injured in two locations. 5 fatalities split across two locations (Nat Pa Lin and Kan Saunt villages), and coded as 3 for this event.
