Around 26 December 2025 (between 26 - 27 December), in Thone Gwa village (Kyaikto township, Thaton district, Mon state), the Myanmar military clashed with a combined force of the Karen National Liberation Army (KNU/KNLA), the All Burma Students' Democratic Front, the People's Defense Force (No.36 Strategy), and local PaKaPha groups after the military advanced towards the area. Around 10 military troops were killed in two locations (coded separately). 10 fatalities split across two locations (Yae Kyaw and Thone Gwa), and coded as 5 for this event.
