On 26 December 2025, BRG militants attacked Security Forces (coded as military) on the highway between Notal and Bakhtiarabad areas (Nasirabad, Balochistan) during an armed encounter. BRG claim two security personnel were killed and several others were injured, after which the militants withdrew from the area. Fatalities uncorroborated with 2 fatalities coded and unspecified wounded.
