On 26 December 2025, TTP-TGM militants attacked police and counter terrorism department (CTD) personnel and Aman Lashkar members near Sarai Naurang Police Station in Takhti Khel area (Lakki Marwat, KPK), triggering an exchange of fire. Six TTP-TGM militants, including a senior militant of the TTP-TGM Bannu chapter, alongside a police personnel and a civilian were killed. Nineteen others, including three police personnel, five children, and one woman, were injured. Regional sources claim that TTP-TGM militants used quadcopters to target civilian areas during the clashes. 8 fatalities and 19 injured.
