On 26 December 2025, in Alagoinhas (Bahia), unidentified armed suspects in a vehicle injured a man in a drive-by shooting. The victim, who was a PP city councilor, was also in a car. The suspects escaped. The authorship and motivations are unknown. There were no fatalities.
