On 26 December 2025, JNIM militants attacked the town of Segue (Segue, Bankass, Mopti), seizing a vehicle. The attack was repelled by the Dan Na Ambassagou militia. Several militants (unspecified fatalities coded as 3) and 6 people, including 2 teachers were killed, and several militants were injured. The militia members also seized motorcycles. JNIM claimed to have attacked and taken control of a headquarters of Dan Na Ambassagou militia in Segue, without providing further information. Total 9 (3+6) fatalities coded.
