On 26 December 2025, FARDC carried out drone strikes and destroyed 2 M23 speedboats in Kalundu port (Uvira, Sud-Kivu). Several M23 were killed. Ten others were injured. Unclear whether they was an exchange of fire. According to the army, these ships were carrying military equipment from Rwanda. Sporadic gunfire was also heard during the day. Unspecified fatalities, coded as 3.
