On 25 December 2025, in Hmawbi township (Yangon-North district, Yangon region), a combined force of the Yangon Army and the People's Defence Force Western District Yangon (PaKaPha) attacked the office of the People's Pioneer Party (PPP) using two remotes and a grenade at 10:40 pm while Pyu Saw Htee members and members of the PPP party were gathering at the office. The combined force claimed that they targeted the office because the party supports the military's 'sham' election. Casualties unknown.
