On 25 December 2025, in Ka Myaw Kin village (Launglon township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), unidentified local defense forces conducted drone strikes on a Myanmar military checkpoint at the Kaw Myaw Kin Bridge at around midnight. One of the bombs landed on a house near the checkpoint, injuring a woman.
