On 25 December 2025, near Sinphyukyun town (Salin township, Minbu district, Magway region), the combined troops of the People's Defense Force (under NUG) and local people's defense forces attacked the Myanmar military troops stationed near the Sinphyukyun hospital and near a police station. Casualties unknown.
