On 25 December 2025, outside Mogoke town (Mogoke township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), unidentified resistance forces attacked Myanmar military troops stationed at the Nyaung Thone Pin monastery, the Ma Soe Yein monastery, and the Aung Myay monastery using drones and rockets at around 8:30 am. The two sides then exchanged fire until around 11 am. Casualties unknown.
