On 25 December 2025, in Ho Hko village (Kutkai township, Muse district, Shan-North state), members of the Shan State Army-North (SSPP/SSA-N) opened fire on each other at around 8:30 pm after a member of the SSPP/SSA-N, who was on leave and intoxicated, refused to return to the station when asked by fellow members. A 45-year-old member of the SSPP/SSA-N was killed, and another sustained injuries. 1 fatality.
