On 25 December 2025, BLA militants carried out a remote-controlled IED attack targeting a military vehicle on the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route in Katgari area of Panjgur district (Panjgur, Balochistan) while it was returning personnel from picket duties. BLA claim six military personnel were killed and four others were injured, with the vehicles severely damaged. Fatalities uncorroborated with 6 fatalities coded and 4 injured.
