On 25 December 2025, in Spanish Town, Saint Catherine, several armed men entered the March Pen Road area and opened fire against a group of people gathering there, killing a bar operator and another person. The motivation for the attack is unknown. Hours later, the police killed an armed man whom they suspected was a perpetrator in the shooting (coded separately). 2 fatalities.
