On 25 December 2025, near Tibu municipality (Norte de Santander), ELN members clashed with members of the 33rd FARC dissident front near the Campo Tibu oil field. During the fighting, a crude oil transfer pipeline was struck by gunfire, causing a spill that affected local vegetation. Days later, company personnel repairing the damage were intercepted by members of an armed group, and their vehicles were subsequently set on fire (coded separately). There were no casualties.
