Around 25 December 2025 (as reported), according to the local branch of the federal security service, a man opened fire on the FSB agents who attempted to arrest him at an unspecified location in the Kaluga Oblast (coded as Kaluga). According to the agency, the man (a naturalized Ukrainian native) was trying to set up explosives onto a local gas depot and at a military-industrial enterprise's parking lot. The man was killed in return.
