On 25 December 2025, the United States military fired about 16 Tomahawk missiles at Nigeria, targeting ISSP (locally called Lakurawa) in Bauni Forest Reserve (Illela, Sokoto), Alkasim and Warriya villages (coded separately). Parts of the missiles (UXO) landed in Jabo and Offa (coded separately). The militia infrastructure was destroyed. Consequently, ISSP members were seen fleeing to other camps and into Niger Republic. Casualties unknown.
