On 25 December 2025, the United States military fired about 16 Tomahawk missiles at Nigeria, targeting ISSP (locally called Lakurawa) in Alkasim village, also spelled Alkasum (Tangaza, Sokoto), Bauni Forest Reserve, and Warriya villages (coded separately). Parts of the missiles (UXO) landed in Jabo and Offa (coded separately). The militia infrastructure was destroyed. Consequently, ISSP members fled their camps and relocated elsewhere. Casualties unknown.
