On 25 December 2025, in the evening, JNIM militants attacked a position of the Malian army in the village of Zantiguila (Zan Coulibaly, Dioila, Koulikoro). JNIM claimed to have attacked a Malian army headquarters in Zantiguila. In a separate statement, JNIM said it seized a machine gun, and published photographs of the seizure. Casualties unknown.
