On 24 December 2025, in Myaung town (Myaung township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Myaung People's Defense Force TGR, the People's Defense Force - Sagaing District Battalion-1, the Sagaing District PDF Mine Production Department and the Myo Ma Area People's Defense Force (Myaung) fired 60mm heavy weapons into the Myaung Myo Ma police station, where about 100 Myanmar military soldiers and police troops were stationed. The combined force also fired small weapons. In response, the military soldiers and police troops fired 40mm heavy weapons. A military soldier and a police troop were injured.
