On 24 December 2025, in a rural area of Tibu municipality (Norte de Santander), members of an unidentified armed group dropped IEDs from drones injuring a civilian woman. There is an ongoing territorial dispute in the area between the ELN and 33rd Front FARC dissidents. There were no fatalities.
