On 24 December 2025, in Abaetetuba (Para), an unidentified armed individual on a motorcycle killed a man, in a drive-by shooting, near the airport access road in a low-traffic area behind a condominium. The victim was working as a motorcycle taxi driver when the shooter arrived on a motorcycle, opened fire, and fled the scene. The motive for the killing remains unclear. 1 fatality.
