On 24 December 2025, in Tres Lagoas (Mato Grosso do Sul), military police clashed with three minors on a motorcycle during a car chase in the Setsul neighborhood. Police arrested one suspect and shot and injured another, after he pulled out an object resembling a firearm. The third one escaped. The suspects were likely drug traffickers, since their motorcycle was given to them by a drug user as collateral for unpaid debts. There were no fatalities.
