Around 24 December 2025 (as reported), in Sao Miguel dos Milagres (Alagoas), military police officers exchanged fire with an unidentified armed suspect. The officers conducted an operation to arrest the suspect, who was wanted for drug trafficking and other crimes. He resisted and fired against the officers, leading to an armed clash. He was shot and killed. 1 fatality.
